About

The Flying Biscuit stands out in Atlanta's restaurant scene for its Southern brunch with a hip, Midtown energy. Located near Piedmont Park, this spot serves American breakfast, Sunday brunch, and baked goods. The decor feels true to the neighborhood, and the patio is a popular spot. One reviewer called the atmosphere 'quaint, trendy and friendly.'

Weekday visits are smarter than weekend ones. The seating is cramped, and Sunday morning waits can be long. Biscuits are a signature item, especially with the cranberry apple butter. Some have found the biscuits inconsistent, with pockets of dry flour. If you're nearby, you might also check out Mary Mac's Tea Room for a different take on Southern classics.

Located in Midtown near 10th St, close to Piedmont Park.

My daughter and I had lunch here on a visit to Atlanta. The food was great, and the place felt cozy, trendy, and welcoming. I noticed a cute couple nearby. The young man reminded me so much of my son, who passed away two years ago from a seizure by our pool. He was 23. I couldn't help but keep looking at him; he had the same mannerisms and kind smile. Afterward, I approached him and his partner to apologize for staring. He was really sweet and understanding, just like my son. That moment and the Flying Biscuit will stay with me. Our food was excellent, especially the biscuits with cranberry apple butter, which were incredible.

I want people to be informed so they can choose for themselves. This establishment contributes money to right-wing candidates. They earn money from gay customers, but do they genuinely support our community's interests?

“Ok and Hyped”

The attractive crowd is typical for the gayborhood, but I found the food inconsistent at this Flying Biscuit location. On two visits, the biscuits weren't fully mixed and had pockets of dry flour. The seating is tight, so it's better to come on a weekday and avoid the weekend. Sunday mornings have waits that aren't worthwhile.
