About

Unlike most Honolulu diners, Eggs 'N Things has served breakfast all day since 1974, drawing equal crowds of locals and tourists. Its Waikiki location on Kalakaua Ave stays busy for good reason: macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup are a signature. The menu leans American breakfast with Polynesian touches, plus tofu and grilled veggies for healthier options.

Expect a wait, often 30 to 40 minutes, but the pager system lets you explore nearby. Servers are friendly and fast, making the short delay worthwhile. For a quieter visit, try a weekday morning. A second location sits across from Waikiki Beach.

It's in Waikiki on Kalakaua Ave, the main drag, so you're steps from the beach and shopping.

Features

The tofu and grilled vegetables with white rice were amazing. All the eggs are light, not buttery or greasy, and there are healthy options.

“Three locations now”

The Saratoga location is their original restaurant. We had a 40-minute wait. They give you a pager about the size of a CD that buzzes when your table is ready, so remember to check in at the downstairs reception to get one. The food was good, and the staff were even better. There's another location across from Waikiki Beach. You can see all locations and the menu on their website.

“Best Breakfast in Waikiki”

For us, this is without a doubt the best spot for an amazing breakfast while staying in Waikiki. Sometimes you might wait about half an hour for a table, but it's absolutely worth it. They serve macadamia nut pancakes with a coconut syrup that is incredible. It's a place equally loved by locals and tourists. The food is excellent, the servers are incredibly friendly and fast. We highly recommend this place.
