The Signature Room at the 95th

About
The Signature Room at the 95th is best for travelers and locals who want stunning skyline views without paying for the observation deck. Perched on the 95th and 96th floors of the John Hancock Center, this upscale cocktail lounge offers an experience that's more about the scenery than the food. The mixed gay/straight crowd and tourist-friendly vibe make it a popular spot for date nights or special occasions. Drinks are pricey but not budget-breaking. Note that Yelp indicates the venue may be permanently closed, so check current status before planning your visit.
If you go, aim for dusk or sunset to catch the skyline transform and, on certain nights, fireworks over Navy Pier. The windowside tables are prime real estate, so arrive early or be prepared to wait. The menu spans American, European, French, fusion, seafood, tapas, and vegan options, though reviews suggest the cocktails are the main draw. For another top-tier Chicago dining experience, consider Girl & The Goat just a short trip away.
Located in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, the restaurant is part of the iconic John Hancock Center, known for its upscale shopping and dining.

“Amazing Place for Drinks @ The John Hancock Center”
You should definitely go here instead of the paid observation deck where you can't get a drink. The views from the 96th floor of the John Hancock building are amazing. If you go around dusk or sunset, as I planned for clients, push through the crowd to get a table by the window. Your jaw will drop, then pick it up and keep drinking. It's even better if you happen to see the fireworks at Navy Pier. Drinks are a little expensive but not too bad.
