Bazbeaux is a hip spot that blends fresh, creative pizza together so well that it ranks among my top three pizza places ever. From the very start, I was blown away by how fresh and tasty the pizza was — the toppings, the dough, the cheese, everything. Whether I order one of the preset specialty pizzas or a weird combination of my own, Bazbeaux always impresses me. Their selection of toppings is also unmatched. The only downside, if it applies to you, is that they don't have draft beer, and the service has ranged from fantastic to hipsters who act too cool to be servers (even though they are). At the end of the day, I come for the food, and Bazbeaux has never let me down. One thing to keep in mind about the Mass Ave location is that the wait on Friday and Saturday can get quite long, especially for groups of five or more. But there's a reason everyone is willing to wait.
