“great burgers”

Good burgers, though a bit pricey. Lots of shows and fundraising events.

“Mary's is rancid”

I feel the same way as other reviews, but unfortunately it's just like many Mary's locations I've visited. Prices are too high and the staff is rude.

“lots if fun”

As a local, I enjoy going to Hamburger Mary's as much or more than the gay bar. The food is excellent with big portions, fun entertainment, and a nice patio featuring a great drink selection. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

“Recommend Patronizing Another Establishment”

A message for everyone: please don't go to Hamburger Mary's. A few months ago we were there for a BearBust gathering and having a great time. We usually pay with cash all night, but since we hadn't gone to the ATM, the bartenders on the upper patio suggested we start a tab. We did. At the end of the night, I asked the bartender what we owed and he said $89. When we checked our bank account, we saw that our bill, which was $89 on the receipt I signed plus tip, was charged twice — once for $89 and once for $99. We waited a day or so to see if the second charge would drop off, but it didn't. So we disputed the charge with our bank. It was resolved, and the smaller of the two charges was refunded. Today, we were at Hamburger Mary's. We had lunch and were enjoying beers and hanging out with friends on the patio when the two bartenders from the upper patio approached us and suggested we open a tab. They told us we were no longer welcome there because of a "conflict of interest." They said this was per the manager. After repeatedly asking, we were never able to speak to the manager directly. In fact, it seemed like they were trying to avoid getting the manager. So, I strongly advise everyone to check your account statement when using credit or debit cards at Hamburger Mary's, especially upstairs. I originally thought this was just a mistake — those happen. But after being confronted and kicked out by the same two bartenders involved in the disputed charge, I worry there may be something more suspicious going on. I hope I'm wrong, but the situation is very strange to me.
