About

Bar: Full bar

Lidia Bastianich's Becco sits on Restaurant Row in Hell's Kitchen, serving Italian comfort food to a mixed gay-straight crowd of 30- to 50-somethings. The unlimited pasta special and Caesar salad are the draws, backed by a wine list with over 100 bottles starting at $25. Full bar and reservations are available, and the vibe is casual enough for jeans but polished enough for a pre-theater meal.

Come for the pasta symphony or antipasto and breads that one reviewer called "a wet dream for any bread lover." Lunch is served Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:30 am, with dinner running nightly until 9-11 pm depending on the day. It's a reliable spot for a solid Italian meal before a show, without the stuffiness of some fine-dining neighbors.

Becco is located in Hell's Kitchen, the heart of New York's Theater District and a longtime LGBTQ-friendly neighborhood.

“Love it!”

The food is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. You really can't go wrong. The Pasta Symphony is always a solid choice, and the $25 wine list has many options. Enjoy!

After seeing 'Other Desert Cities,' we walked over to Becco and enjoyed their pasta special, which was fresh and delicious. The antipasto and breads are a dream for anyone who loves bread. We absolutely adored this place!
