About
The crowd here leans 30-something and up, with a mixed gay and straight clientele. The place focuses on lasagna, offering over 17 baked-to-order varieties, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. An outdoor seating area lets you watch Chelsea's 8th Avenue foot traffic, and the full bar highlights happy hour and Italian cocktails.
Service reviews are mixed, particularly around the outdoor tables, so check Yelp's note that the venue may be permanently closed before heading over. If the kitchen is active, go for the lobster lasagna or the banana pina colada. Weekends offer a two-hour bottomless brunch.
Located in Chelsea, this corner spot sits on a busy 8th Avenue and 20th Street, near some of New York's top gay bars and clubs.

“Ugh”
Many patrons looked like extras from a 1970s blaxploitation film. At least they took up seats. On a Friday at 9pm, the place was roughly 80% empty. The entree was okay, and the Caesar salad was comparable to what you would get at a fast food chain. Service was clumsy.

“Unprofessional staff and dried out, shriveled up vegetables”
The service was the worst I've ever experienced. Without the busy street corner location and outdoor seating, they would likely fail. I had to ask the same server three times for silverware and napkins. He then blamed the lazy bus staff, claiming they were on siesta. An odd comment from an Asian server. Overall, a very negative experience, and given the overpriced food, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are much better choices nearby.

“I Love this Place”
I visited a couple of times last winter. Honestly, both times I only ordered the lobster lasagna, and it was amazing. Inexpensive, loaded with lobster, and a huge portion — I even took leftovers home once. Both times I had excellent service at the bar.

“Excellent Food”
You have to eat here. Reasonable prices, a pleasant atmosphere, and great staff. My meal was excellent, and my partner had one of the many lasagna options, which was also really good. I would go back.

“Lasagna Done Well!”
This is definitely a solid place to eat. I sat outside on the 20th Street side. If you eat outdoors, try the 8th Avenue side instead. I was too close to traffic while dining. However, I did enjoy watching some handsome people walking along 8th Avenue. I ordered the Vegetarian Plain Lasagna and it was very good. I also had their Banana Pina Colada, which you must try.
