“nice place to go if you're feelin' low!”
Equal Grounds is trendy, lively, and welcomes everyone. It has two big rooms with rotating art on the walls and an eclectic vibe. It's a great spot to go when you're down and want to be around people. The coffee is weak, but that seems common in this city—surprising given its large Italian population. There are a few outdoor tables on the avenue. 666 bar, which is mixed and has a similarly welcoming trendy atmosphere, is a short walk north. If you're up for it, you can walk south to the Highland Park Arboretum.

“great place to relax with friends”
An excellent, laid-back neighborhood coffee shop for meeting friends and hanging out. I don't drink coffee, but I absolutely love the pomegranate-grape drink with whipped cream.

“My favorite coffee house”
This spot offers great customer service and a wonderful atmosphere. The coffee and frappes are excellent. I definitely recommend it.
