“Healthy food, flawless service”

I eat at Aladdin's at least two times a week. The healthy dishes are tasty and there's a great range. I especially like the chicken chili and the Greek Pitza. The servers are friendly and work well.

“Part of a regional chain”

This Aladdin's location is part of a chain of Lebanese-inspired cafes found mainly in Ohio and a few other states. It's more Lebanese-style than truly authentic—don't expect Arabic music, an exotic atmosphere, or punchy flavors. The menu is very safe and Americanized, with smoothies, toned-down versions of Middle Eastern dishes, and flatbread that feels store-bought, though they also have classics like baklava, stuffed grape leaves, and grilled lamb. My salad arrived drenched in feta, which masked the greens entirely, and the grilled lamb pita was tough and chewy, with pieces so large I could barely bite through them. Service was slow and inattentive. On weekends, it's often a date spot. It's not especially gay, but the vegetarian options and vaguely exotic feel draw some sophisticated gay men. It's okay but far from great.
