Tabbuli
Gay-operated Mediterranean bar with annual NYE bash
About
What sets Tabbuli apart from other Mediterranean spots in downtown Charleston is that it's gay-operated and known for being very gay-friendly, with hand-crafted cocktails and a casual, trendy vibe. It's also the venue for an annual Big Gay New Years Eve party, a local fixture for queer revelers.
The space offers outdoor seating, is dog friendly, and has a full bar plus free wifi. Late-night hours mean you can stop in after most places shut down, though Yelp listings suggest it may be permanently closed, so it's worth checking before heading out. If you're in the area, 82 Queen offers another solid dining option nearby.

“Great place to spend a merry and Gay New Years Eve”
Excellent and very welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. A wonderful spot to hang out and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. The bartenders are very attractive, and the business is LGBTQ+ owned. They also have an annual New Year's Eve party focused on the LGBTQ+ community coming up.
