“Another of a local chain”
I haven't actually been to this specific Calypso Cafe, but I've dined at a couple of the other locations in the city, like the one in East Nashville and on Thompson Lane. Both had a quirky, enjoyable vibe and really well-made Caribbean dishes. I doubt any of the roughly ten locations would be anything less than welcoming and polite, but since I've had trouble getting the two I've visited listed as separate restaurants, I'd recommend that if you're in Nashville and want some tasty, fun Caribbean food, check out Calypso in the phone book or online to find the nearest one.
