About

Bar: Beer & wine

Bottoms Up Pizza opened in 1990, born from Dirk Graham's frustration at finding good pizza in Richmond. The crust takes over 12 hours to prepare, a secret learned from restaurateur Fabian Botto. This downtown spot survived the 2004 flood from Hurricane Gaston and has been voted 'Best Pizza' in Richmond year after year. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a substantial gay following and plenty of people-watching.

You'll find outdoor seating, a happy hour, and free wifi. Dogs are allowed on the patio. The restaurant accepts reservations. For a different vibe nearby, check out Ipanema for vegetarian fare.
