About

Cat Mountain Station is a restored artist's business center in South Tucson, housing multiple craft shops, galleries, and cafes. Unlike a typical shopping plaza, it features a furniture store with everything made from recycled wood, a Native-owned-and-operated Native American art and craft store, and one of the best thrift stores in Tucson for antiques and jewelry. The courtyard with a fountain offers a peaceful spot to relax.

Coyote Pause Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (closed Mondays) with beer and wine. The crowd tends to be travelers and locals alike, drawn by the friendly atmosphere. If you're exploring further, Old Town Artisans is another nearby spot worth visiting.

“Great shopping, friendly people”

This is a lovely artists' retail center located just down the road from the Desert Museum west of Tucson. Coyote Pause Cafe is casual, but offers good service and tasty food. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day except Monday, and are open until 8 PM for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. They have beer and wine. There are two art galleries, a furniture store with everything made from recycled wood, and a wonderful Native-owned-and-operated Native American art and craft shop. There is also one of the best thrift stores in Tucson, with antiques, jewelry, and all kinds of things you might be looking for. The people there are all friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortable. You can relax in the courtyard near the fountain and enjoy being in such a peaceful place!
