“The place to go for a real shopping spree”
There's a wide variety including some excellent high-end fashion shops. Deals change with the seasons, but if you have some free time, it's a decent place to spend it.

“Shopping Center”
Located right off I-10, I needed to pick up a few things and was glad I stopped — it's not far from Palm Springs. They have everything you could want; now I know where to go next time I'm in the area. Crate & Barrel, one of my favorite stores, is there.

“Be selective”
With the nearby premium outlet, you have nearly endless options and a good opportunity to compare. Some brands have stuff you'd expect at a flea market, while others offer great quality at discounted prices. Check out Puma and Converse.

“Lots of great retailers to pick from”
This is a really good outlet mall. It's huge and has some of the best retailers with plenty of great deals. The best time to visit is during the Christmas season — I've found some excellent items there then.

“What's not to like?”
It doesn't have a gay bar or a hardware store. About twenty minutes before reaching Palm Springs, driving 90 MPH from the west, you'll see a small town right against the interstate — it's an outlet mall next to another (Desert Hills Premium Outlets). Cabazon is the smaller one with a good mix of familiar clothing brands, followed by accessories, jewelry, furnishings, and many housewives — I mean housewares.
