“Avoid like the plague”

I will never shop at this store again. When I arrived this afternoon, a sign on the door said they were walking the dog and would be back in five minutes. I wasn't in a huge hurry, but since it was a Sunday, many people probably need last-minute items before leaving town. I waited about ten minutes sitting in front of the store. When the employee came back, he stopped to chat with someone from a neighboring business. I waited another ten minutes, then got up to leave. He said he was ready to open, but I told him I was done waiting. I heard him mumble something like f*ggot under his breath. I know this is a small town, but bringing a dog to work is unacceptable, especially for people who are afraid of large dogs or have allergies. Pets aren't people. Leave the dog at home or hire a dog walker. Since you can afford to lose business because socializing matters more than customer service, I assume you can afford that. Plus, the prices are way too high for the cheap clothing they sell. I only went there for swimsuits and 2xist underwear after Universal Gear closed. Luckily, I found what I needed at Leather Central for much less.
