It's not a chain. Broadside Bookshop is an independent bookstore that's been on Main Street since 1974, now run by three longtime employees of the original owner. They stock a wide selection of books and gifts, and they know their stuff. One buyer has been curating the inventory since 1980. Another started in 1991 and is passionate about sidelines. They also host author readings and events.
The shop is open seven days a week, with extended hours Thursday through Saturday until 7pm. You can order online via their own site and pick up in store or get it shipped.
