Open daily 11am-6pm (Sundays from noon), the Peace Nook is an all volunteer-run nonprofit that funds Mid-Missouri Peaceworks. This progressive haven sells books, music, fair trade imports, natural foods, and gifts. It's a mixed-gay-straight space with a decent LGBT book selection and consignment items from local artisans.
