About
Pike Place Public Market has been a defining Seattle icon since 1907. It's home to over 70 farmers, 160 crafters, and 220 independently-owned shops and restaurants. You'll find crafts, produce, clothing, gifts, sundries, and arts and crafts. It's dog-friendly and open daily from 7am to midnight.
The market draws both locals and tourists, but regulars know the best time to visit is early morning to avoid crowds. Check out Babeland nearby for a different kind of shopping. Prices can be high, but the vibe and food are worth it.

Over a year ago I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food here. A highlight was stopping at Pikes Place Brewery and trying the Naughty Nellie.

“have a lot of history”
I have Italian heritage going back to 1917, and as far as I see, Pike Place Market is overrun with tourists and has ridiculous prices for many items. When I was young, farmers came to sell their crops, then they'd have some wine and go home. Now it's just a bunch of shops.
