“Broadway theatre in a West Coast setting”
This venue is a historic landmark here. Once the site of the Academy Awards, this art-deco gem has been a hub of stardom in the city for many years. It still possesses all the dazzling appeal from its prime era, having hosted top-tier celebrities. Now featuring a rotation of traveling productions, it continues to present fresh and exciting theater. If you love theater in an atmosphere of vintage glamour, don't miss an evening here.

“Great Venue for Musicals and Plays”
This is an excellent place to see a play or musical. We've attended shows here, including two major ones, and really enjoyed them. It's right across from a subway stop, at the intersection of two well-known streets, on the east side of a famous boulevard before the freeway. The area is being redeveloped and isn't as rough as it used to be. There are plenty of good restaurants to check out before or after the show.
