The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster

Ups and Downs

About

The roar of the wooden coaster and the ocean breeze mix at Belmont Park. This 1925 Giant Dipper is one of only two left, its sister in Santa Cruz. It's a designated historic landmark that still draws crowds. Mini golf and arcade games are nearby. Good times for all.

“The Art of Rollercoaster!”

It's not really art, but there's no better category for it. The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster is a piece of living, moving history. Constructed in 1925 along with its sister coaster in Santa Cruz, it brings happiness to thousands annually.
