About
The Leather Archives and Museum is the only museum of its kind in the U.S., founded by Chuck Renslow, who also started the International Mr. Leather competition. This LGBTQ-owned institution in Chicago's Rogers Park preserves and exhibits BDSM history, art, and culture. It's a gallery, archive, and community space rolled into one.
Open Thursday and Friday 11am–7pm, Saturday 11am–5pm, and Sunday 1pm–5pm. Admission is $ (cheap). If you're exploring Chicago's queer history, it pairs well with a visit to the Museum Of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA Chicago) .
