The Legacy Walk along Halsted in Boystown uses 18 bronze plaques on iconic pylons to honor LGBT figures who shaped world history and culture. “Gay Icon History Walk”

Legacy Walk, which debuted in October 2012, is the world's first outdoor museum walk of its kind, honoring the contributions of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals to global history and culture. There are eighteen bronze plaques placed on the well-known pylons along Halsted Street in Boystown.
