“Fun Bar in Anchorage”
My impression of The Raven is definitely shaped by my first visit. A really attractive Native American guy grabbed me and French-kissed me right when I walked in. That's not something that happens to me often—probably not a regular occurrence there either—but I thought, 'Well, I'm in the right spot.' I've found people in Anchorage to be welcoming, which almost compensates for how boring the city looks. The bar is located at the far end of downtown and its decor isn't anything special. It's simply a place to unwind and possibly connect with someone.
