“racist bar”
Avoid this place if you're standing up for your partner or friend against an aggressive customer. I was removed and spoken down to by the police who work for this bar. I'm from New York City and have never been kicked out of a bar before. Be careful if you're a Black man. And my partner is white.

“big crowd”
It gets very full on weekends. There isn't much country music, but you'll spot some cowboy hats. Be sure to eat at the taco stand next door. Happy hour on Sunday is three for one.

“A great Phoenix institution!”
This club has been lively since the 80s and still remains popular. It's active in community fundraising and has strong ties to the International Gay Rodeo scene. They have a nice patio and dance floor. The drinks are cold and the staff is very friendly. If you're visiting other cities like Las Vegas or Chicago, you'll find a Charlie's there too. I learned how to two-step there and many locations have after-hours. It's a must-visit spot in Phoenix. Parking is also great.

“Ehh”
Everyone told me to go to this bar, but I wasn't impressed. However, if you want a crowded place, check it out. Personally, I think there are other choices that are better.
