“Drinks are a ripoff, rips off people under 21 as well.”
This club is not a good value if you drink alcohol or are under 21. For those under 21, the cover charge is often quadrupled, going from around $5 to $20. Drinkers will face extremely high drink prices. The website mostly shows price ranges for entry, likely because listing the actual cost would upset underage customers. The venue itself is unremarkable, with a rooftop area but otherwise a standard club playing mediocre music. It might be worthwhile only for those over 21 who don't drink. In contrast, Beta Nightclub charges a flat $12 for both 18+ and 21+, is larger, and has more exciting events, making it a better deal for most people. The owner of Club Vinyl should realize that instead of suing Beta's owner for allegedly stealing his DJs (a failed attempt), he should improve his venues by not overcharging underage patrons and drinkers. Until that changes, Beta Nightclub will likely stay more popular than all of his venues put together.
