“Horrific and nasty”
The 701 Lounge & Bar is a small, cozy bar in Covington that serves both drinks and food. At first, it seems like a nice, clean, friendly place to relax or have fun. But if you look into how the bar is run and who owns it, you'll quickly want to leave. I had four months of direct daily visits, behind-the-scenes experience, overnight stays, and know the owner very well personally. The upstairs where the owner lives is absolutely disgusting and was never fully cleaned during my time there. All that filth inevitably makes its way downstairs to the bar and kitchen. The owner seems friendly and kind until you get to know him, and then you realize he will do anything to make a buck. I would go elsewhere before ever stepping foot in that place again after what I learned.

“What a wonderful place!”
Great place to have a few cocktails and relax. Many televisions always showing something. Good owner and staff. Menu has lots of tasty options. There's a pool table if you play, and a fireplace if you don't.
