“quick trip”
I'm staying just two blocks away and it's one of the bars that's open and serving drinks. It's a nice walk, very close and convenient, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

“love this bar”
I know that working boys and transgender girls hang out in and around this establishment, but I've never had any of them force themselves on me. I've also found that the staff is very upfront about who can be trusted and who can't be. The staff is your friend here. That said, this is a very nice, fun bar with friendly people, and sometimes you can even meet someone who might become a romantic partner...(wink)

Another laid-back spot that's Trans-friendly. I always make sure to stop in and play a couple of songs on the jukebox before I head to Bourbon Street. Definitely more relaxed than the typical bar in that area, which is exactly what I appreciate about it.

Sometimes the patrons are a little too trashy, but the bar itself is great with nice employees and a very friendly local crowd.
