I adore this venue — the atmosphere and patrons are fantastic no matter the event. Whether it's burlesque, bingo, drag, esoterotica, or even just the peep show during pandemic times, the concept remains really cool. It's one of those spots where you instantly feel welcome, with a relaxed yet lively energy. Anyone can come and enjoy quirky, funky, and sexy performances. Plus, the bartenders are attractive and the crowd is entertaining.

“fun fun fun!”

This place has everything a New Orleans club should offer: a live brass band followed by a burlesque show for only five dollars — incredible! It was ranked number 12 in the Gambit's list of the top 50 bars in New Orleans, and it's the only gay bar that made the list.

“surprise!”

My visit to the AllWays Lounge was a pleasant surprise. After a terrible experience at John Pauls, where someone told me the AllWays was dirty and punkish, I was hesitant but curious. I went in with low expectations, but ended up having the best time of my trip. I saw the most entertaining variety show ever, featuring queer performers, queens, music, nudity, and friendly staff. Drinks were cheap too. Skip the French Quarter and the Marigny (though not the Phoenix bar) and come straight here.

“Great Bar!!!!”

I was visiting New Orleans and decided to check out Cowpokes. As someone with a disability in an unfamiliar place, I found both the staff and customers very welcoming, especially a bartender. I would absolutely visit this place again.
