“Good place to stop”
It's a charming spot to check out since it's near Bourbon St and is still part of the French Quarter. The decor is mostly black and gives off a very intimate feel. The music and drinks are both quite decent.

I make a point to visit this place whenever I'm in New Orleans, even if it's just for a single Sunday afternoon drink. The jukebox has the best selection in town among gay bars, featuring lots of classic soul and R&B. That said, I'm a fan of dive bars, bars with a diverse crowd of Black men, bars in old buildings, and bars where I can watch sports. The Society Page fits all of that. I'm not into bright discos or clubs with music so loud you can't talk without yelling. If that's what you're after, this isn't the spot. Otherwise, I'll see you at Orlando's.
