About

This gay-owned spot stays open after most Detroit bars close, serving soul food and burgers all night. The space is small but lively, drawing a mixed crowd of 20-somethings to 40-somethings for dancing, pool, and drink specials.

Expect a $10 cover after 3am and a smoky interior. The pool table shows its age with cue chalk stuffed in the holes and a missing cue ball. Tiny bathrooms add to the dive bar charm. If you're out late nearby, Liberty Bar offers another option for a drink.

Located on Detroit's Northside near 8 Mile, this spot is a late-night hub for locals and night owls.

“My review”

The cover charge is $10. The pool cue chalk is left in the holes, the cue ball is missing, and the bathrooms are very small. The smoking inside is excessive. Also, some stranger tried to park in front of us and hit our car, which isn't the bar's fault but made us want to leave.

“Afterhours only!”

If you show up around 3am, there's a line and they overcharge for entry without including anything. But you can still get the drink special and get drunk.

This place is only okay during after-hours if you still want to keep going.
