“SOHO, Pronto”

It has been common for years that bars in the Detroit area have a lot of attitude. It's no wonder that gay bar life around here is completely dead. The negative people in this region have, over many years, ruined any bar that used to be fun and successful. In summary, thousands have moved away because of the negative decline, and the bars are hardly worth mentioning.

“Unwarranted attitude by bartenders”

I went there to meet up with friends. By the time the bartender stopped laughing and flirting with the younger guys, I finally got a drink that was mostly ice and juice. Later I asked for a coffee, and the same guy rolled his eyes and said if I wanted coffee there was a coffee shop down the street, but he wanted to sell me a three-dollar bottle of water. It's just as bad as the other place with the staff having a real attitude.

“only 2 1/2 stars because of the drag queens”

I'm not a big fan of this bar. It's very inconsistent and never seems busy. The bar staff is not attentive.

“OK for a drink”

This place is okay for one drink, if you can get the bartender's attention, even when it's nearly empty. I've never seen much of a crowd here except maybe during the street event in front of it. Don't go out of your way for this spot, but if you're in Ferndale, check it out.
