If you're gay in St. Louis, this is the best spot to go. The DJ spins great tracks on weekends, and there's always something happening at the outdoor patio bar. Sometimes the number of bachelorette parties on weekends can be annoying, but if you can handle drunk straight women, this is the place to be seen. The bartenders are attractive and super friendly, and you should definitely take shots from the roaming shot sellers.

“St. Louis is Desolate”
I came from Columbus, Ohio and was let down by the LGBTQ community. The bars are nice but completely empty, even when the neighborhood was supposedly busy. People were friendly but there were hardly any patrons. This bar's patio was excellent.

“Out side of Chicago, this is the best Gay bar in the Midwest !”
We visited this bar for the first time last weekend and were impressed by how nice it was. Clean, friendly bartenders and staff, good drinks, plenty of space, and a huge back patio. All ages are welcome and everyone is extremely friendly. It seems like everyone wants to chat and have a good time. We got to meet the owners and the General Manager. This bar is run like a real business and does everything properly. In our travels across the country, we get tired of seedy gay bars. We were there three different times; twice they had a free buffet and another time they brought in free pizza for customers. They have a large front room plus three other rooms. We really enjoyed their Sunday Broadway Shows video, and everyone joined in singing. The location is safe and easy to find. There are other bars nearby, but when we walked by and looked in, they only had 3 or 4 customers. Everyone goes to Just John, and why wouldn't they? Thanks for doing things the right way!
