Scandals doesn't come across as an authentic gay bar. It feels more like a venue for straight people having bachelorette parties who want to seem trendy. If you just want to drink and dance, it may be fine. But if you expect a space with a meaningful gay crowd, you'll likely be let down.

“Hayday is over, but still best place to go.”
The new management has made choices I don't really like, and they seem to have lost some regulars. Before, one cover charge got you into all three floors. So for those of us who remember that, the club isn't as great as it used to be. Still, if you want to dance, it's the best option and appears to be getting better.

I enjoy places without snobbery, but there's always some nasty attitude floating around here. The music is usually good and the shows are also good.

“Big dance club”
Large dance club with a diverse crowd. All the typical gay clubgoers plus some very stylish straight couples dancing too. A bartender at the back bar makes excellent drinks.
