QUADZ Las Vegas

Dancing · Video Bar · Las Vegas, NV

About

You'll fit in fine at Quadz if you want a no-frills bar after midnight that stays open around the clock. This 24/7 video bar keeps the pool tables, dart boards, and TouchTunes going for a mixed gay/straight crowd that's mostly 30s and 40s, with plenty of locals who treat it like their living room.

Showtunes nights draw a singalong crowd on certain evenings, and the happy hour is a solid value. The vibe is casual and unpretentious, so don't expect themes or gimmicks, just a reliable late-night stop that never closes. For a more polished scene, Piranha Nightclub is a short walk away.

Located in Las Vegas' Paradise Fruit Loop, a compact strip of LGBTQ+ bars and clubs just off the Strip.

This place is a lot of fun, but the current manager shows some racial bias. He threw me and my African American friends out simply because we asked the bartender if he'd found my friend's lost car keys, calling it "harassment" even though we never insulted or threatened anyone. Be cautious if you're not white. The bartenders are attractive and the atmosphere is lively.

A dive bar with rude bartenders. Go anywhere else. Only worth it if you're desperate. Total dive.

“Another Fruit Loop bar with no distinct personality”

This bar lacks distinctiveness, to the point that I could reuse most of my Freezone review for it. There's nothing exciting here. Bartenders are competent and amiable, the beer and liquor selection is decent, and prices are fair with a worthwhile happy hour. It's an okay spot to hang out if you're in the area. But it has no unique style, theme, or personality. Just a generic neighborhood bar for a mix of gay men. I'm begging Las Vegas gay bars to develop themes, unique decor, an identity, or even a gimmick. Being gay-friendly isn't enough in 2017; gay people can go anywhere, so every bar is competition. With a name like Quadz, the staff should be muscular and wear gogo shorts to show off their legs. Seriously, didn't that occur to you? Las Vegas, make your gay bars distinctive.

“A great new bar in Las Vegas”

QUADZ is a great new spot for the gay community in Las Vegas. The place is clean with plenty of seats. They also host showtune nights that I really enjoy. There's a music jukebox, pool tables, and dart boards.
