“Hopping Multi-Level Mixed-Crowd Club”
I went back to Axis on March 4, 2022, paid a $10 cover, and spent $9 on a rum and coke made with cheap rum. To the left of the entrance is a lounge area with diner-style seating. The lobby opens into a small area with a bar, and behind it on a raised level is another bar with tables and stools. Beyond that is a fairly large dance floor with a big stage opposite the raised area. A DJ booth sits to the left of the stage. The third floor has balconies on both sides overlooking the dance floor, plus an outdoor smoking patio. The place was packed with a diverse crowd and many club kids. It was very busy, and I waited almost ten minutes just to order a drink. Also, there were only a few attractive guys there, and drinks were somewhat expensive. So I'm not sure if I'd return. ****** I was at Axis nightclub on Saturday night, March 7, 2009. It's a multi-level club with two bars. There were quite a few hot guys, some shirtless and very fit, and the crowd seemed diverse with some women and a few straight-looking guys. The dance floor was crowded, but the music was excellent! There's a stage for dancing that also hosts theater productions. I will definitely return next time I'm in town. - easy parking - fun crowd - long lines
