“This place sucks”
I went there for a beer and found it to be the most unfriendly place I've ever been to. I've been treated better at straight bars. It's very cliquey. I won't return.

“Best OSU football spot”
Perfect spot to catch Ohio State football games, with free pizza and chili pie at halftime that are delicious. The staff is wonderful.

“Below Average”
That was my first and last visit to Slammers; it was just average. The bartender was slow and rude. It felt like a lesbian walking into a straight redneck bar. Newcomers are not welcome.

“Competion for Wallstreet?”
Slammers represents the classic neighborhood dyke bar that's becoming rare. It somehow makes my craft-beer-loving self actually want Miller Light. It's compact and usually not too busy. There's plenty of outdoor seating with space saved for cornhole. The jukebox matches the vibe and the crowd—think classic rock and Melissa Etheridge. Drinks are affordable and the bartenders are welcoming. I've been under the card minimum more than once and they've covered my drinks. It's ideal for warm evenings, especially from Tuesday through Thursday, and a good starting or ending point for weekends.
