“rude”
I visited for the first time for my birthday and was cut off within an hour because I have a speech impediment and was flushed. But the group next to us was very loud and talking about how drunk they were, yet they were served another cocktail. The rest of my group wasn't cut off, just me. First time ever in my life. I had to flag the bartender to order a drink, and she made two wrong cocktails. She wouldn't explain to me why I was cut off, only told my two friends. I'd only return if that bartender got some education on disabilities.

“Below expectations”
I'd rate it zero stars if possible. The staff is rude, and if you ask for the owner, you get a drunk man pretending to be the owner. Men's opinions rule everything. I do not recommend it, especially for women; you're better off going to a straight bar where you're treated with respect.

“The best music videos”
There's no better spot in the city to hang out and watch music videos. It's actually quite small but not claustrophobic. Yes, it's the gay bar not in the main gay area, and it's on a small side street, but don't let that stop you from discovering it. The new ownership with a new name changed a slightly seedy hangout to a place reminiscent of secretive gay bars of the past, but one you'd never be embarrassed to visit.

“narrow but cute”
I enjoyed Stir. Really nice decor. When you first walk in, there's a room with a bar that's way too big, making it hard to get by. There's another room further on that's more open, with cute seating on one side and toilets with frosted glass doors on the other. Further on is another bar (more appropriately sized) and a small dance floor. The crowd was festively dressed. It's on a small side street off 17th, a little hard to find at first and off the beaten gay path, but worth a visit. Check it out.

“Great mix at Stir”
This is a great bar for meeting up with friends or making new ones. It's located just off Rittenhouse Square and has an upscale interior. I love the bartenders, the good music, and the two wonderful owners.
