Oasis Tapas & Lounge

Tapas Small Plates · Dancing · San Juan, PR

About

Think beachside bar from the name? Oasis Tapas & Lounge is more than just a sandy start. Once Splash Lounge & Restaurant, this spot in Condado brings together small plates, drag shows, and dancing with a playful crowd that's primarily 30s and 40s.

The real action kicks in around 10 p.m., especially on Mondays when the happy hour and specialty drinks draw a lively mix. Beers come in small cups but pack a punch. If you're hitting SX The Club nearby, Oasis works as a warm-up.

In Condado, San Juan's beachfront district lined with hotels, restaurants, and nightlife.

“cool”

The bartender was really friendly, and the people there were nice to talk with. The drinks are definitely cheap! You can sit inside or outside and enjoy a nice sea breeze.

A welcoming spot in the middle of Santurce, with friendly dancers and solid cocktails. We tend to kick off our nights here and often leave because the crowd stays small and is mostly tourists. I'm not sure why we always start there.

“Great place to start your night”

I went with a coworker. We arrived around 9, had drinks, and sat outside. It was quiet, but by 10 things really got busy. There were three strippers: one muscular guy, one twink, and one tattooed hipster. All were very nice and worked the room. It was a lot of fun. The drinks came in small cups but were good and strong. I heard Monday nights are very busy and only Tuesday is slow. I'll definitely go back.

“Yes it is closed BUT”

The original owner will reopen soon with a new name. Can't wait since this was my favorite bar before Splash.

“Charming Bar”

A nice, small bar. Currently vacationing in Condado from Memphis. Drinks are fairly priced. The owner is very kind. The bartender is friendly and quite attractive. I've had a pleasant time here this week.
