About

Bar: Full barBest nights: Thu, Fri, Sat

This cozy downtown bar calls itself 'Dark Lady's little sister' — and it leans into that role with its own bright, playful character. Gloss white walls, colorful accents, tinsel, and halogen lights give the space an energetic feel; regulars joke about bringing sunglasses. The crowd skews 20s to 30s, and reviews consistently note how open and friendly the vibe is, with no cliques.

The bar opens at 4pm on weekends (later on weekdays), and those early hours make it a good start before heading elsewhere. Just note the proximity to drag shows next door: staff may encourage you to check them out. It's a casual spot for a drink, not a destination in itself. If you want food or a change of scene, The Stable is a short walk away.

“A Refreshing Change”

Traveling two hours from another state was absolutely worthwhile! There were no exclusive groups, and the crowd was diverse and very welcoming. My friends and I had an excellent experience and plan to return.

“So bright... SO BRIGHT!”

Gloss white walls, colorful accent paint, mirrors, tinsel, shiny knickknacks, and intense halogen lights will burn your eyes. Bring sunglasses. Good beer, and the staff was competent but busy talking about business, schedules, and other work stuff instead of paying attention to customers. Overall the bar is nothing special, mostly a convenient place to take a break from the drag shows next door. But that doesn't work because they come over and make the rounds telling customers to go next door to see (and pay for) the drag shows. Think about it: if I'm somewhere else, doesn't that tell you I don't want to see the drag show?
