A warning to customers: this is the worst gay bar in Providence. There's a lot of drug use, and the bartenders seem to be using drugs too. When my friend asked the tall, bald, burly bartender for a glass of water, he was told to either buy bottled water or go find water outside. They lost my other friend's credit card and did nothing about it, overcharged us by making up prices for drinks, and treat customers badly. If you do go, bring cash and know the drink prices because half the weekend bartenders are so drunk or high they shouldn't be serving. I've also heard reports of people's belongings being stolen by other patrons who are allowed inside. Spend your money elsewhere and have a safer time at another gay bar.

Since the Boston Ramrod is geared toward the leather crowd and it's common to see guys with their female friends, I prefer Providence Eagle any day.

Club Body Center, located just around the corner and upstairs from Providence Eagle, hosts a Bear Night every second Friday of the month. People of various body types and ages get a discount when entering CBC on that theme night. So have a few drinks at this awesome leather bar, then head upstairs for some fun!
