“Friendly Everyone Welcome”
This is a great spot for happy hours and Saturday night drag shows featuring Dakota St James and the cast.

This was only my second time visiting, since I just moved back to this city after eight years in another city. Unfortunately, I can see why the original Stirrup and then the other Stirrup closed down. My understanding is that Peckers is owned and run by the same people, and it shows the difference between the two cities' communities and why the gay bar scene here seems to be dying. Charging $25 for one cocktail, one soda, and what I assume was supposed to be a simple buffet (which would have been free in my former city) is way too much. I seriously doubt my boyfriend and I will be coming back to Peckers anytime soon. Very sad.
