“Did I miss something”

Since my first review, things have shifted a bit. It features a pleasant bear crowd in their 30s and older, and I think the patio is one of the best in the city. It feels much more welcoming than the Dallas Eagle, even if the venue itself isn't as polished. The bartenders are friendly, but the drinks are always mixed poorly. My only gripe is that it's cash only. I've never had issues with parking, and security is always at the door.

My favorite spot to go when I'm in town visiting. Relaxed, genuine people. Mostly a jeans-wearing crowd. It's a bit dim and some might find it a tad sketchy, but that adds to a great atmosphere.

This is our go-to bar in the city. Anything can happen! Robin and Brian are the best bartenders because they often remember what regulars like to drink. Music comes from a jukebox, so get the app to queue up your favorite songs. Very chill vibe with no pretension. It's cash only but there's an ATM inside. Pool tables and a dart game fit the dive bar feel. Always a good time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons for beer bust. I just wish there was a dance floor. Other than that, I highly suggest it to visitors wanting to relax and meet locals.

I adore the relaxed vibe; people talk to each other without that "are you hitting on me" suspicion. Most folks are older, so the games are the same but more enjoyable because trying to impress someone isn't a big deal. So if you play hard to get, it's not an insult or attitude, it's just part of the game... and the bartenders are the best!
