Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours
The crowd here reflects the heart of Midtown: a mix of locals and visitors drawn to modern soul food with global flair. Chef Deborah VanTrece, an out LGBTQ+ owner, leads this kitchen with executive chef Robert Butts. The space feels warm and welcoming, good for groups. You'll find Michelin-rated Southern dishes and cocktails from mixologist Kursten Berry. Hours are limited: lunch and dinner Wednesday through Saturday, plus brunch on Sunday. Gelato from nearby Mary Mac's Tea Room makes a nice nearby stop. Reservations are recommended given the limited time slots.
Future Atlanta
Five Points has a fresh spot for drag and cocktails. Future Atlanta is a new LGBTQI+ showbar that bills itself as a 'drag n’ dine extravaganza,' with go-go boys and strippers adding to the energy. It's LGBTQ-owned, still building its crowd. Since it's new, expect evolving events; nearby Bulldogs offers another established option for a longer night out.
