The decor is contemporary but comfortable. You get a separate bedroom, living room, and even a kitchenette. The staff is helpful—one guest noted they took care of delayed luggage from the airline. Parking costs $24 a night, but the location is hard to beat: close to Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente. If you're looking for a low-key stay near the action, this is it. For a more bustling option, the W Hollywood is a block away.

“A definite favourite”

I've stayed at Le Montrose many times and it's one of my favorite hotels anywhere. It's close to everything in the neighborhood, has an amazing rooftop pool and tennis court, and walking home at night makes you feel like a local.

“Great hotel”

It's more than a room, it's a mini-suite: comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Room service was quick and good. The staff not only looked good but also helped with issues regarding delayed luggage from the airline. It's close to bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Even the price seems fair for accommodations in California. Give it a try on your next trip to LA.

“My choice in WeHo”

I was pleasantly surprised by this suite hotel located just 3 blocks off Santa Monica Strip and San Vicente Blvd. The rooms are spacious with a separate bedroom, dressing room, large living room, and even a kitchenette. The rooftop pool, hot tub, and sun deck are fabulous on a sunny day. If you drive, parking is $24 a night.

The best gay-friendly hotel in any town. Always classy, always affordable. There should be a Le Montrose Suites in every big city. You can walk to everything in the West Hollywood, Sunset Strip area. A+

“Comfortable and trendy at the same time”

My partner and I stayed here over New Year's 2005-2006 and it was perfect for us. All rooms are suites; we got a junior suite which is a large room with a living area on one side and the bed on the other. The room decor was modern but very comfortable, and since it rained most of our trip, we especially liked the fireplace and the DVD player. Unlike most hotel rooms, we felt at home here. My favorite thing about this hotel is that it's just a block or two off the main WeHo strip, but in a residential neighborhood, so you really feel like you're living there. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to stay in WeHo and wants a nice, attitude-free place.
