It’s not what it once was. The furniture is dirty, the space isn’t clean, and the windows haven’t been washed in a long time. There’s no service at all. Aside from the maze, it’s not worth it.

“A BAD experience”

I strongly advise against staying here overnight. If you have to go, just get a day pass. The rooms are small and poorly equipped, with hardly any amenities worth mentioning. After seeing my room, I wanted to leave. Management refused to refund my money and became very hostile and rude. It is not a friendly place to stay; they just want your money. Poor customer service — there is no excuse for treating people so badly when they are trying to enjoy a vacation. I would never come back.

Over a year ago This review covers my dealings with the general manager, owner, and the resort itself. It began on a previous visit when the resort downgraded my prepaid king poolside room to a small queen room in the back without lowering the rate. The general manager screamed profanities at me and said if I didn't like it, I could go somewhere else. After I went to my room, a front desk staff member brought a gift certificate from the general manager for a complimentary two-night stay in their Signature Suite, the largest room, along with a sincere apology. Fast forward to this weekend for that complimentary stay. First, I was told the Signature Suite was booked and I could have a buddy room. Since it was a holiday weekend, I accepted. That evening I met the guys staying in the Signature Suite; they said it was an upgrade given at check-in, not something they booked. Fine, but I dislike being misled. On day two, I was in my room when a man walked in without identifying himself and started screaming, shaking, and pointing at me, asking how dare I be so disrespectful by having my door open when it was 104 degrees outside and he was paying for my room. I had left the door open because I was going to the front desk for a soda and forgot my wallet. The tantrum lasted about five minutes before I got him to step outside. He turned out to be the owner. He accused me of trying to extort a free weekend by threatening a bad review. I explained what happened on the previous stay; he said the incident report claimed I demanded money. I said I asked for a discount because of the downgrade, which seemed fair. He called me a liar and said I had no proof. I told him I had a receipt with a handwritten note from the general manager offering the two-night stay, signed by the owner. He argued I couldn't have it; when I produced it, he said the signature was his but the handwriting looked forged. No matter what I said, he got aggressive and called me a liar. I mentioned I had witnesses; he responded by asking if I knew how rich he was. I said I'm not poor, but he insulted my integrity and social status. He repeatedly said he was rich and would ban me for life from not just his resorts but all Palm Springs resorts. I've been there three times in 17 years, so his threats seemed comical, especially to the crowd that gathered. I got contact info from witnesses. He called me a vicious queen and said he'd have staff watch me; if I even sneezed wrong, police would be called and the ban threat repeated. After he left, I was in shock. I worked in hotel management for years and could never imagine speaking to anyone like that. I read previous reviews and saw I'm not the only one he has treated this way. As for the rooms and grounds: the first room was small, the main area clean, but the bathroom shower looked untouched since the buildings were built decades ago, with cracked tiles and grout falling off. I also had to kill a few cockroaches (ew). This weekend's room was in the main building, poolside, a desirable spot especially for Sunday Pool Party. Again, the room was dated, the toilet only flushed fully every two to three times, there was never hot water, and the towel rack kept falling off. For what they charge and how rich the owner claims to be, you'd think some money would go back into the resort. Overall, my last two stays have been scary and threatening. There are many all-male, clothing-optional resorts in Palm Springs with equal or better accommodations, nicer grounds, and better entertainment options. If you do stay, I strongly suggest not complaining to the front desk, general manager, or owner — wait until you get home and post reviews here. I'm sure after this review I'll finally be banned from his "numerous" resorts (all three of them). If that's what it takes to warn others, so be it. I hope my experience helps people make an informed choice about where to stay in Palm Springs. - skip the free breakfast

“Exelentes Rooms”

Last week I stayed in a suite, and it seemed very elegant. The hotel pools are beautiful. The room was very clean; I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly! The supervisor was very responsible. That's why I'm leaving my review: to say visit and enjoy a good stay and experience.

“Can't Recommend It”

I've visited several times before, but my last trip was very disappointing. Room rates had gone up a lot. On our last day, my friend and I wanted to stay on the property after checkout since we had a late afternoon flight. We planned to leave the room by checkout time. Management insisted we buy day passes for $12 each to stay. We felt ripped off for an extra $24. And if you want a place with some activity, look elsewhere.
