“On the rise”
I go there regularly because a friend from the United Kingdom stays there on each visit, now that the hotel is improving. The renovations are overdue but promising, and there's a lot of potential. Mountain-view rooms have no obstructions (avoid street-side rooms), a nice pool and gym on site, and great gay-friendly room services—no questions about needing extra towels. There's enough within walking distance that a car isn't necessary if you're new to Palm Springs; guests are more social and mingle than expected, which is a plus. Great seasonal deals beyond reward points, like 50% off an extra night with American Express. Check out the pictures.
