TLDR: After being rudely scolded about his cancellation policy and denied a refund, the owner eventually agreed to let us use our 50% deposit for a future booking if he could rebook the original room. He did rebook the room but didn't keep his promise. This so-called resort is a case where you need to read the fine print, especially regarding their cancellation policy and the owner's lack of hospitality. Six weeks before my partner and I were to visit Palm Springs in August, I booked two weekend nights at INNdulge. Two days later, they charged 50% of our stay, which was $300. I don't travel often, but when I do, hotels usually don't charge until checkout. They might place a hold, but not charge in advance. INNdulge charges half of your booking a month and a half before your visit, and you can't get it back after that. Three weeks after booking (still three weeks before check-in), work and family issues forced us to change plans. This wasn't my first time calling to reschedule a reservation, and it hadn't been a problem before. So I contacted INNdulge, expecting a similar outcome. Instead, the owner, John Jackson, told me that since the reservation was less than 42 days away, our 50% deposit was forfeited if I canceled. Yes, they have a 42-day cancellation policy. Other hotels have policies of 3 days, 2 days, 24 hours, or even the same day. To justify his strict policy, John played the victim. He complained on the phone that he runs a small business and needs such a long cancellation window. He said if he didn't, people would book and cancel weeks before their trip, and he couldn't rebook the room in time, losing money. He even compared his business to airlines, which won't let you rebook without paying extra (though you don't lose what you've already paid). Regardless, I wasn't trying to cancel. I just wanted to apply our deposit to a later date, specifically in October. But since October is their busiest month, they require a minimum of four nights and raise their rates. I wasn't happy, but that's business. However, it wasn't really in our budget, but my partner and I decided to book for October anyway, thinking we could use the $300 already charged. We were wrong. The owner's policy doesn't allow such flexibility. Why? John rudely told me over the phone he didn't want to 'take the risk' with me since I was canceling three weeks before the original booking. He said he'd lose money if he couldn't rebook the original room. But he was comfortable, after taking $300, telling us to rebook for October and pay the full amount, which would be at least another $1200. Finally, he agreed to be the 'nice guy' (emphasizing he didn't have to) and promised to credit the $300 for the October booking if he could rebook the original room with another guest. I never heard from him again. Curious, a few days before our original weekend, I checked their website for availability. They were fully booked. I even had a friend call, and the front desk said no rooms were available that weekend. So that's how John Jackson, owner of INNdulge, runs his business. Hospitality isn't a priority. He was fine losing a returning customer. He told me there were plenty of other customers wanting to stay, yet on the same call said he likely couldn't rebook the room in three weeks. Which is it? There are plenty of other clothing-optional resorts in Palm Springs with better accommodations. Don't give your money to such a stingy person who sees returning customers as disposable transactions.

BED BUGS AT INNDULGE RESORT PALM SPRINGS!!! Sharing our terrible experience from a recent stay. After two days, as we were packing to check out, we found bed bugs at the bottom and middle of the bed. We reported this to the front desk person, who argued with us and raised his voice instead of apologizing, showing no empathy. He then called the owner, who made things worse. Instead of apologizing for our horrible experience, he had housekeeping change the sheets while we discussed the issue in the lobby. After that, he invited us to see the remade bed, which was absurd. Of course, we wouldn't go back into that room because of the infestation; we had photo evidence. Eventually, police were called, and they seemed to side with us regarding how poorly the owner handled things. We paid $275 per night and expected better, at least no bed bugs. When we mentioned this, the owner said we could go stay at the Ritz Carlton down the street. We've stayed at similar resorts before, where we were treated with kindness and had great experiences. This was our first negative one, so we feel we must warn others. Suggestion to the owner: get out of the hospitality industry. Future guests should know about the disgusting creatures waiting in beds at INNdulge Resort Palm Springs.

“Great Gay Resort without the snobbery. THANKSGIVING BLAST!”
I love staying at INNdulge. The atmosphere is great. It's not a large resort; it's small and intimate, but it offers a lot. I'm staying here for a week through Thanksgiving. I've heard great reviews, and honestly, the parking lot here is full, while other gay resorts on the strip have only one or two cars. I love that it's clothing optional.

“Impeccable service, beautiful resort”
I can't say enough good things about INNdulge. I just got back from a fantastic weekend there. Many qualities stand out, but especially the friendly staff and excellent service. The team was always available if I needed anything for my room or had questions. They were attentive without being overbearing, professional without being stuffy — one of the best hotel staffs I've dealt with. The pool area was beautiful. Many Palm Springs resorts have pools that are too small with little space to spread out, but INNdulge has one of the best pool areas in the desert. I loved it: spacious, beautiful, sunny, with great views. I could go on and on; it's truly one of the top men's resorts in Palm Springs. Check it out!
