“Things change”

It remains a serene and nice spot to stay with well-kept grounds. However, the pool is no longer clothing optional because the guests are no longer only gay. It's tough to run a business without welcoming everyone. I'm heading to Palm Springs.

“Beautifuly kept., Sexy Friendly Crowd and Some are Naked ;-)>”

When I brought a mixed group of work friends here, I didn't realize it was clothing optional. The women and I were on our cottage porch when a very attractive man walked by smiling. We just looked at each other and said wow! We had a great weekend. The staff were helpful and attentive.

The Woods is a very relaxed and quiet gay-friendly resort. Accommodations range from multi-room suites with kitchens to budget bunkhouse rooms that are perfectly fine. There's a large clothing-optional pool (I personally wear swim trunks), and it offers a welcome change from the more lively and noisy Triple R scene. The staff is excellent and friendly.

“filthy dirty”

I stayed one night and then left. Items went missing from our room while we were at dinner. I found out that one of the owners, Verna Preaseal, is a convicted felon. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
