“Great Friendly Hotel”
This great hotel sits on Mission Bay, just five to ten minutes from Hillcrest. Many rooms open directly onto a private beach lined with free cabana-style chairs perfect for tanning. The newly renovated rooms match any top-tier four-star resort. The hotel offers boat rentals, and you can walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. It's definitely the place to stay if you want to be close to everything while enjoying beach time.

“A Fabulous Beach Resort in San Diego”
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic weekend here and found the hotel very gay-friendly. You can tell there's family involvement in management. The location is great—one block from the beach—and there's a private beach on the bay. We rented a kayak for the afternoon; it was a great workout and the bay is stunning. They gave us a free upgrade to a studio with a full kitchen, so we stocked up on wine and food to avoid eating out every day. The hotel is about five minutes from Hillcrest, where the gay bars are. If you want to see and feel like you're in San Diego, this is the place.
