“Older Hotel but good location”
This hotel has seen a lot of changes over the past year. It used to host the number one Friday Happy Hour, but after the hotel was sold, that event is being discontinued. It's about a two-minute drive to the nearby neighborhood and a good half-mile or so walk. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms have been renovated to look fresh. For the price, this hotel offers good value if you want to be close to that area.

“Fail”
Just tried to get rates and availability for a San Diego trip. I was told I'd need to book a minimum of five nights. The reservation person couldn't explain why. Probably won't try again. There are too many other options. Felt snubbed.

“Simply sublime!!”
My partner and I stayed here during the pride weekend in 2013 and we will definitely be coming back. Even the most basic rooms are spacious with a separate kitchen and dining area. The shower was nice. The large mattress was firm but comfortable. It's very convenient for the parade and festival, though a bit far from University if you're into the club scene. Great staff, very professional and courteous.

“great hotel”
Great rooms and a good location within walking distance to bars and restaurants in Hillcrest. Very gay friendly. The Friday evening gay event on the rooftop is very popular with locals.

“Great remodel of this classic hotel!”
This is now called The Inn At The Park and not Park Manor Suites. The new owner is doing an amazing job remodeling all the rooms. Everything is new with a purple, black, grey, and white color scheme in each room, very modern compared to the old style. Still the best location for Hillcrest and Balboa Park, and walking distance to The Loft, a great neighborhood bar.
